I'm walking 62 Miles in October
Back in 2023, my Mother was diagnosed with early onset Dementia.
Along with this, I also have relatives and close friends who have parents suffering from this terrible disease.
I decided to sign up for the Walk 62 Miles in October challenge, to help raise awareness, so that families affected by dementia can get the specialist help and advice they need, obtaining some sponsorship for this great charity along the way.
A £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
I would be grateful for your support, however small.
