I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
Dementia is close to my heart having watched my sister-in-law deal with what it does to a loved one. I always thought it was something that happened to people when they were really old 90+ but it’s not and signs and symptoms can be disguised for many years as well as also the person you’ve loved your whole life slip away rapidly into not even recognising you. This really hurts and it’s cruel to all involved.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
Please support me, if 100 friends donate just £1 then I’ll reach my target.

Monday 29th Sep Never did I think I’d achieve this but I did and it’s done! 30miles in September, I hope the money I’ve raised can help people living with dementia. I’m so proud of myself!
