Help me reach my goal of £160

I'm walking 62K with my dog for Dementia UK

This March, I'm walking 62K with my dog and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

We have done 55km and we are half way through the month! Thank you so much to all that have sponsored Hugo and myself! We still have time to get more steps in and raise money to help Dementia UK! Sunrise walks

Tuesday 4th Mar
We’ve been doing a daily morning walk before I go to work! Lovely to get to see the sunrise and get some extra steps in!

Late morning walk and a game of fetch

Sunday 2nd Mar
A late morning walk around Hugo’s favourite field they have a stream for him to also play in! 4km (2.55miles) and the sun is still shining!

Saturday 1st Mar
Today we made the most of the sunshine and went for a long stroll! 10.10km(6miles) was completed. I will try and remember to do it on Strava but I will also log it on my Apple Watch and give updates along the way.

Hi all, 

My name is Becci and i will be walking 62km in March with Hugo, my dog to raise awareness of Dementia. 
Anyone who knows me will know how much Dementia has impacted my family. It is really one of the hardest things to watch a loved one suffer and not be able to make it better. Just showing up and being there really does make all the difference but that itself can be so tough! 

 I want to raise money for all who are also having to go through this journey  and hope the donations raised will help.
