I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thursday 28th Aug Hi My names Rebecca Lightfoot2 yrs ago I started to work in a residential care home on their memory floor, as a Care Assistant and further progressing onto a Acting Senior Care Assistant , and I must say my job is the most rewarding job in the world being able to spend time and even spare 10 minutes from your day with our wonderful residents and seeing how this can brighten up their day is the best feeling in the world, but also their is the other side to my job where u get to see first hand what dementia can do to a person and also affect their loved ones daily.
I would like to complete this challenge and every little sponsor how ever big or small from family and friends would be greatly appreciated to help fund a cause close to my heart and help families to navigate their journey through their dementia diagnosis.
