I'm walking 50 Miles in January for Dementia UK

This January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Now i know there are many mother in law jokes out there but this is not one. My Mother in law Helen Redman is well into both Dementia & Alzeimers. A complicated diognosis & one wirh many challenges not just for her carers but Helen herself. A constant battle everyday in her head to express her feelings & thoughts. 50 miles will always be a very easy thing for me to do to raise money to help get a better understanding & provide better care for this horrible/ugly desease. Having watched Helens loved ones at close hand experience such loss over & over again is just draining & even worse for Helen who senses sonething is not right but cant quite put her finger on it. I hope you can donate any amount for the 50 miles in January i will complete & will also add an extra 50 miles if I surpass the modest £250.00 target. Thankyou everyone for your support. X
