I'm cycling 300 miles for Dementia UK
This June, I'm cycling 300 miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Monday 30th Jun
So yesterday I finished my challenge of cycling 300 miles in the 30 days of June for Dementia UK with a ride from home to Hunstanton which turned out to be 54 miles straight, my longest ride to date. Throughout this challenge I’ve had one thing in my mind, a lady called Blondie! If you know, you know. If you don’t, let’s just say it was her hand on my back pushing me along when the rides got tough! Thanks Nan! (Always remembered and first person I see every time I walk in the door) It’s been a pleasure to do my bit for such a worthy cause and one that’s close to my heart
