This June, I'm walking 60 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Hello my name is Pascale, I have decided to run 60miles in June in aid of dementia… this cruel disease takes far to many of our loved ones including my best friend my dear great granny who just missed her 100th birthday because this cruel disease took control we as a family did all we could to keep our granny comfortable in her own home as it was her wish to never be out in caring home .. we were there till the very end my amazing sister being a nurse would spend evenings at my granny’s house looking after her as well as my nan (her daughter) .. our granny was the light of the family she was a true Leo who lived to dance lived to be centre of attention in the best way possible she was just the most amazing person ! After our loss we felt a huge gap the house we would all gather in together for Xmas, Sunday dinners , birthdays ,meals, daily cuppa teas were gone. She is very much missed but us as a family also know how tough it is and the strain is has when a loved one is taken by this cruel heartless disease!! So please support me in order to make a significant difference in the future of dementia 🩵🤍✨
