Exciting!

Thursday 24th Sep Thank you so much for all your donations so far! It means the absolute world  to me! I will officially be recording my minutes read and a few other fun little stats as of October 1st (also planning a few other fun social media “events”) but obviously anyone who knows me knows I spend a stupid amount of time with a nose in my book anyway. As of last night I spent a good hour and a half finishing a book called Solace House by Will McLean. It’s a fantastic read, the prose is phenomenal and the story is completely compelling. Our main character finds himself at a loose end at the end of university and the  beginning of summer. He can’t stay there and can’t go home but by a stroke of luck he finds himself joining a group of misfits and odd balls clearing an old abandoned mental health facility and an adjacent abandoned hoarders house. The inevitable chaos that ensues isn’t what you think it is but it’s simply unputdownable. I felt more intelligent for reading this book 😂.  Share
