I'm walking 62 Miles in October for Dementia UK

This October, I'm walking 62 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

62 miles for dementia care: Why I’m walking this October

Saturday 3rd Oct

This October, I’m walking 62 miles to raise £250 for Dementia UK.

Through my work in adult social care, I understand the importance of patience, dignity and support for older people and their families. This challenge brings together my commitment to care and my passion for raising dementia awareness, including within our Nigerian communities.

I’m fundraising to help Dementia UK’s specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide practical advice and emotional support to families affected by dementia.

Please support my walk by donating whatever you feel able to give or sharing my fundraising page. I’ll post updates on my progress throughout October.

Thank you for supporting me and families who need this care.
