I'm walking 62 Miles in October

I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Hi All,

I know money is a bit tight an all and everyone is counting the pennies but I am on the beg for anything and everything you can donate. 

Today I have completed my first walk of just over 2 miles towards the 62 miles I will be completing in October in order to help families who face dementia. 

God knows mine knows the struggle first hand….

For families going through what mine are now, life shouldn’t be this hard, it shouldn’t be so much of a struggle to access services to provide basic quality of life for the individuals who have dementia. The family and  loved ones shouldn’t then be held back by “if” they can get the funding….. 

For anyone in Wigan that didn’t know, you access help for dementia through and Admiral nurse and it’s actually a shambles that there is not a community admiral nurse in the whole borough!! You can access ONE in Wigan hospital but there is one ONE!!!! 

Please help me in anyway you can, make just a little  difference 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
