I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Walking for Dementia UK in Memory of My Mum

Hey Eveyone, This October, I’m walking for Dementia UK in memory of my wonderful mum, who lived with dementia.

Watching someone you love change because of this condition is one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. Mum was so full of life, love, and laughter, and even as dementia gradually took pieces of her away, she remained the heart of our family.

I’m walking not only to honor her memory, but also to help other families going through the same journey. Dementia UK provides incredible specialist nurses who give families the support, advice, and care they need at a time when it can feel overwhelming.

Every step I take is for Mum, and for all the families who need that extra bit of help and hope.
