I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

We are on day 4/31 and we have managed to complete 10 miles! 65 left to go wish us luck 💓

Hey everyone! Today was our first day of the challenge. We completed a total of 3.7miles so far. Drax is now sleepy and I'm hopeful I'll have an early night tonight too! 🙈

Hi everyone! 

For a while now I have been wondering on how I can help other families/patients that are going through the horrid dementia journey. Then I stumbled across the 75 Mile dog walk throughout October. 

A cause that is very close to my heart as unfortunately my lovely Grandad is suffering with dementia himself.  As a family watching the deterioration happen before our eyes is absolutely heartbreaking. Knowing that there is support out there to help us all individually cope with this is so valuable. However organisations like this need to be funded to continue to help so many people going through the same.

Throughout October I will be attempting to complete this challenge with my boy Drax 🐾 it will be a challenge for myself with next to no fitness 😂

Any donations would be hugely appreciated but please don't feel obligated. Just rooting us on throughout this challenge I will be very thankful for!
