I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

In 2018 I lost my Mum to various diseases relating to Dementia. A journey I have never fully got over. In 2025 I find myself back on the same route with my Father. As they say “No words needed to say as a family how we feel”. Why am I doing this and raising money? Simply one day I hope a cure is found and nobody ever suffers again. Because it’s not the person with dementia that suffered, so do the loved ones around that family member. For the person you love dies and then in a double blow they actually die. This is a cruel disease, that no one deserves to suffer.
