Walking for Mum

Saturday 13th Sep Hi Everyone . My names are Moses Nde originally from Cameroon. The reasons I decided to join the campaign to walk for dementia is because it is a cause so close to home and my heart. My mother was a mental health patient who went to rest in 2022. I was 3yrs old when she had her first episode which lasted for seven years straight without a day relief. I know mental health and dementia are 2 different things but in her case it felt closely related as she would go for months with recognising us( her children) or being aware of her current state or environment. I knew her throughout my childhood in that state right up to being an adult. Withness the torments she went through and the strain it put on the family. It is with these thoughts in mine that I am deciding to walk 62miles to raise awareness and funds for Dementia patients. Please lets join hands in helping me and other patiticipants reach our goals.
