I'm walking 62K with my dog for Dementia UK

This March, I will be walking 62K alongside my dog, Gerry, to raise vital funds for Dementia UK, a cause that is incredibly close to my heart and my family’s. On March 12th, 2023, we lost my Grandad, Mo, to dementia. His passing was sudden, and the emotional toll it took on our family was immeasurable. The way this disease affects not only those living with it but also their families is truly heartbreaking. No one should ever have to experience such pain.

Our Grandad was the heart and soul of our family, and losing him has left a void we will never fill.

 Sadly, we also lost my Great Gran, Nanny Horsham, to dementia over a decade ago another big character taken by this cruel disease that left us all devastated.
