I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Saturday 30th AugThis September, I’m walking 30 miles for Dementia in honour of my amazing dad. 💜
My dad is my hero, but dementia is stealing him away from us piece by piece. He’s not the man he once was – his memories are fading, his spark is slipping away, and every day I see more of him being taken by this cruel disease. Watching someone you love disappear in front of you is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to face.
I can’t stop what’s happening to my dad, but I can walk for him. Every step I take is for the man who raised me, loved me, and shaped who I am. It’s for the dad I still see inside, even as dementia tries to take him from us.
