I'm running 62 Miles in October

I’m running 62 Miles in October (2 miles a day) and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need.  Having watched my grandpa suffer and succumbed to dementia and close friends parents face the daily battle with dementia I would be so grateful for your support.

A £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Day 1 of running 2 miles a day in Oct for Dementia UK

Wednesday 1st Oct
Stayed in Nottingham, ran with a mate and agreed 3 miles.
Almost 7 miles later after getting lost we got back to the hotel. Not a bad effort having not run for months.

Point of note Nottingham is 90% up hill no matter which way you go.
