Im walking 50 miles in January in memory of my gran who passed away to dementia. I saw this shared on facebook and theres no way I could of just scrolled past. Dementia is a horrible illness and it was not nice watching someone you love so much deteriate in such a short time.  My gran was my best friend, always laughing and giving us a laugh when she would walk in the house with her blue mascara on, tan on or cutting her pockets off her jeans! (She was a dress maker back in time). She was some gal! She would have loved to see me get married & watch the boys grow up but I know shes always by my side & would be super proud of me.
