In memory of my wonderful Nanny
Wednesday 1st Oct I had toiled over the idea of doing this challenge for alittle while but never clicked to actually do it!We very sadly lost my Nanny last week and everything changed!! I thought no I can't do this its too soon but actually the more I thought about it the more I thought it was the right thing to do, my Nanny loved a walk and now everytime I go for a walk I can think of her! She truly was one very special lady and we are very grateful that this awful disease didn't take my Nannys ability away from her knowing who we were! We are very fortunate because I know how awful this disease can get and this is why I want to do the challenge to support the great work that Dementia uk do, in memory of my Nanny Celia. I am so grateful for all the beautiful walks, trips out, chats and sing songs we had together and I am so sad she is gone and will miss her so much but I am comforted to know she is with the Lord in Heaven and my Lovely Grandad too.
Miss you Nanny, I will walk to remember you! Share

Well done what a great achievement and memory!

In loving memory of a very special lady taken by an awful disease - the only saving grace with it is that it does not affect their love or faith in our Lord Jesus Christ x
