I'm walking 50 Miles in January for Dementia UK

This January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

My most amazing Aunt🫶

I feel so lucky to have just celebrated my great aunts 90th birthday with her.  She doesnt know she has dementia and thats the way she wanted it. Its really tough some days for my  wonderful cousin who cares  for my Aunt. Some days she now forgets who her daughter is! I hadnt seen my great aunt for maybe 8 years.. but this wonderful chance came to me to visit with my family and she remembered me🫶 I gifted my great aunt a photo album with the help of my family rallying around to get all the memories...thankyou my family x also with lots of messages from everyone.. like a "this is your life" and we had two wonderful days of my great aunt remembering the old days..  laughing about happy memories..  magical moment i hope i never forget. My Great aunt will likely forget... I am 90! she says, isnt that just amazing, but it does make me forgetful this old age but i will live till i am 100🫶 
So i take on this challange inspired by my great aunt.. the queen of our family🫶
