I'm walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK
This June, I’m challenging myself to walk 60 miles for Dementia UK in support of a cause that is very close to my heart.
I’m doing this in honour of my Auntie, who was diagnosed with dementia in her mid-50s and is now living with advanced dementia. It is an incredibly debilitating and heartbreaking illness — not just for the person living with it, but for everyone who loves them. Seeing the impact it has had on our family has inspired me to try and help others facing the same journey.
Dementia UK provides vital support to families through specialist nurses, and I’d love to raise some funds to help make a difference for others.
Now, 60 miles might not sound like much to some people… but as a self-confessed couch potato, this is definitely a challenge for me!
If you’re able to spare a couple of pounds, I’d be so grateful — every donation, no matter how small, really does make a difference. Thank you so much for your support ❤️
