Winter Reading Challenge

I'm doing Winter Reading Challenge for Dementia UK

This winter, I'm reading and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone.

This is for my lovely mum who has Alzheimer's. She pushed a book into my reluctant hands at 10 years old and told me I should start reading. I went from being forced to read to virtually living in my local library.

Nowadays reading has to fit around my little boy. Do you think reading Room on the Broom 5 times in a row counts for this challenge?

Dementia UK is a specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

Book 1: Journey Across Japan

Monday 2nd Nov
I thought I'd start with this book by Chris Broad. I loved his first book; Abroad in Japan. I also think it's one of the nicest book cover artworks. Ps: Arthur is joining in for his Grandma. He read two books: One Magical Morning and Elmer's Bedtime Story. He's quite advanced for his age.
