I'm doing Winter Reading Challenge for Dementia UK

This winter, I'm reading and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

New Challenge!

Some of you may remember my Mum who passed away in 2018. What some of you might not know is that we (her family) believe she had dementia.  We also believe that her Mum, my Gran, had dementia as well.  
I've been wanting to do some sort of challenge to help raise awareness, and hopefully some funds. However all the challenges I saw were physical ones that were very unrealistic with my mobility problems. But I do enjoy readying. 
Those who know me well will also understand why I've put my Sandi as my profile pic. It's not just humans who suffer with dementia 😞
