I'm walking 60 miles in September

I’m walking 60 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

I worked for many years with people who had a diagnosis of dementia.  I now teach young people to care for a wide variety of diseases including dementia.   I absolutely loved working for  people who had dementia, some of the most rewarding years of my life💜.  But as much as I loved working with so many wonderful people (for over 22 years)…. I would much rather that there be a cure!  That is why I am walking a mile a day to raise money for dementia UK. 🇬🇧.

Starting tomorrow

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!
