I'm jogging one mile a day for Dementia UK
This April, I'm jogging one mile each day and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

Donations
Sunday 16th Mar Getting donations already and got my first one from someone I don’t know.: that means the world to me as it proves we are all in this together as sufferers (I hate that word !!) carers and families. Made me think about all the groups that are out there supporting cared for and carers. Two of my favorites are the music groups and men in sheds. Have a look at them !! Share

Thoughts on dementia
Tuesday 11th Mar Whilst I do this challenge I plan to post my daily thought on dementia. Some days I think why us? Why my dad ? But then I think why not ? Many families have it tough so I’m not doing too bad all things considered. Park the bad moments and enjoy the good onesThank you to my Sponsors
