I'm walking 50 Miles in January for Dementia UK
This January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

Walking 50 milessss
Friday 2nd JanMy Grandad was diagnosed with early onset dementia around 6 months ago, it was really hard news for me to take in as my grandad has always been my big tough, hard grafting, loving and kind grandad. I’ve got a disability and my family were told I’d never walk but I proved them wrong and have fantastic healthy life. My grandad always tells me how proud he is and that I showed them doctors wrong. I’m doing this 50 mile challenge in my grandads name he’ll be 82 this year. Still going and fighting strong. My Grandad Freddy, our little joke because he hated the name Fredd, so obviously as a child I wind him up at every single chance I got and he’d chase me all over and said he’d bite my bum if he caught me haha (when I was little haha) now my little boy calls him Grandad Freddy too.
