I'm doing The 36 Hole Challenge for Dementia UK
As most of you either know or have seen, I've taken up golf in the last few months and I'm very interested in this event as I have connections through friends and previous jobs where I've encountered people with dementia such as pub customers or older colleagues with early diagnosis of the terrible disease.
If people want to jump on board and join me with this challenge if be more than happy. I haven't set a date for it yet as I'm trying to communicate with various golf clubs as to who would accommodate this
I’m taking on The 36 Hole Challenge and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.
£21 could pay for the telephone costs of five families calling our free Helpline whenever they need support.
£33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
