I'm doing The 36 Hole Challenge for Dementia UK
Earlier this year, I lost my mom to vascular dementia. Watching someone you love slowly fade away to such a cruel illness is something very traumatic. Dementia doesn’t just take memories - it takes personalities, independence, happiness and the moments you thought you’d have for years to come. It’s a truly devastating disease that robs families of the people they love, often too long before they are gone.
In my mom's memory, I wanted to do something positive to help others facing the same heartbreaking journey. That’s why I have chosen to play a 36-hole golf challenge to raise money for Dementia UK. I will be playing 2 rounds of competitive golf in July.
If you’re able to support me, even with a few pounds, we would be so grateful.
Thank you for helping me to honour my mom and making a difference!

I completed the 36 hole challenge in memory of my lovely mom, I hope this helps in some small way. Mark & Elaine.
