This January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Dementia charity walk

Good afternoon. 
Dementia is a horrible disease . It robs you of those you love dearly . In essence you suffer more than they do . This is because you bear witness to their mind and memory unraveling ; whilst they are mostly unaware ..so emotionally it takes it toll.

 I am walking for Teresa Keenan . My Grandmother .  She is a wonderful and kind human being . Who has given so much love and support to all of her children , grandchildren friends and even strangers . Such a generous and  kind  and out going lady . Who was tremendously independent before this disease . She is now bed bound which is a crying shame because she was a get up and out kind of gal . 

 My auntie Kathleen and uncle Michael and his wife Pon . Take great care of my nan . Her every need is met and she is at home ..the have the respite if a live in carer which is the support that my family need and deserve. 
So hopefully they can benefit from the likes of this charity and more .
