I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

Monday 7th Sep💙 30 miles for Dementia UK this September 💙
This September, I’ve set myself a challenge — to walk 30 miles throughout the month and raise £175 for Dementia UK.
Dementia is a cause that is particularly close to my heart. I’ve sadly had family members who have died due to dementia, and now, working in the care industry, I see first-hand how much dementia can affect not only the person living with it, but also their families and the people around them.
That’s why I wanted to do something to help.
I’ll be putting on my walking shoes and clocking up those 30 miles throughout September, one step at a time. 👟🚶♀️
Every penny really is vital. Donations help Dementia UK provide support to families living with dementia and help fund vital research into this devastating condition.
My target is £175, and I’d be so grateful for any donation, however small. If you’re unable to donate, sharing my fundraising post would also mean a lot to me. ❤️
30 miles. £175 target. One very worthwhile cause. 💙
Thank you to everyone who supports me — I really appreciate it. xx
