Maddie and Lorraine’s story.

Friday 11th Apr Hey everyone, I’m not very good with words but I’d like to raise some money for dementia uk because I used to be a support worker and many of my clients had dementia. It can be a very hard time for those who care for them, they are not only your clients but you build a relationship up with them.  Seeing someone not sure what they are doing anymore  isn’t nice so I couldn’t imagine how the person with dementia feels. Lorraine’s mum , my nanna  has dementia and sometimes she doesn’t remember who me or my mum are but we have to take it on the chin and hope she remembers by the time we leave  and if she doesn’t it’s okay because there’s always another day. So please could you support me and Lorraine  to raise some money  so people with dementia can get the care they deserve and need, also help families who need  the support and love to get through these difficult times with their loved ones.
