Walk 30 Miles in September 2026

I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

My Updates

2.5 Miles to go 💕

Tuesday 29th Sep
Hey Everyone! Sorry I’ve been quiet and slow on the updates, had to put the walk on hold for a little while due to my little Cali having her surgery 🐶 Her first walk out tonight though and she did an amazing 2miles ✌🏼

A quick drop off at home and then back out with Flint to do another 2 miles, so 4 miles walked in total this evening, nowhere as gorgeous as where I did the last walks but got to see the start of a beautiful sunset 🌤️

Anyway, together with the 2 miles from yesterday and the 4 miles from tonight, I now have a grand total of 2.5 miles left to walk 🚶🏻‍♀️ which I will complete tomorrow evening ❤️

A massive thank you to all that has sponsored me so far, I have raised £240 of my £250 target for Dementia Uk 💙  Please if you can help me to reach my target I will be so grateful 🙏🏼

Luds Church with Flint 🥰

Thursday 10th Sep

It’s official, I’m slightly broken 🤣

Thursday 10th Sep
At the weekend I walked a total of 19.7 miles and my god am I feeling it!!  😮‍💨 (although I’ve just about recovered)

Hope Valley, Luds Church, Buxton, Chee Dale (this one was a killer) and Lady Bower/ Derwent Dam!  😊

For someone that doesn’t really “walk” and is unbelievably unfit, it’s fair to say IM PROUD OF MYSELF!! Go Me!! ✌🏼💕

However, I’m not doing it for me, I’m doing it for Dementia UK and for all the families that have been or continue to be affected by this! So far I have raised £205 of my £250 target 💙 Thank you to those that have donated and supported me so far, you have no idea how much this means to me 💕

8.5miles to go… 😁

1.8 Miles is a start… 😁💙

Friday 4th Sep

Dusted off the boots!! 🥾 💕

Friday 4th Sep
Well I dusted my walking boots off and made a start on my 30miles, with the best company in little Miss Cali 💕🐾

Just a little local walk and of course a pit stop so Cali could have a paddle 🤣

Please if you could find it in your hearts to support me on this journey by donating as much or as little as you can for Dementia UK, I will be forever grateful 💙

Thank you 💕

30 Miles for Dementia 💕

Saturday 29th Aug

This September, I’ll be taking on the 30 Miles in September challenge to raise money for Dementia UK.

Dementia is something that affects so many families, and Dementia UK does such important work supporting families and helping them face the challenges that come with a dementia diagnosis. 💙

I’d love to raise £250 for this amazing charity, and every donation, no matter how big or small, will help me get closer to my goal. 🙏

So, throughout September I’ll be getting my walking shoes on and aiming to complete 30 miles! 👟🚶‍♀️

If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. And even if you can’t, sharing my post would mean so much and help spread the word. ❤️

Thank you so much for your support! 💕
