hours of free helpline support from a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse

I'm making Time for a Cuppa

By the time you've made your brew, another person will have developed dementia. I'm going to bake, brew and raise vital funds for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £21 could pay for the telephone costs of four families calling our free Helpline whenever they need support. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support. I am really grateful for any support you can give.

Thank you!

Time for a Cuppa!! - Supporting Dementia UK

Tuesday 14th Apr
There is something comforting about putting the kettle on, sitting down with a cuppa, and sharing a moment with others. It's simple, familiar and meaningful which is why Time for a Cuppa is such a powerful initiative.
This campaign is about connection. It's about bringing people together over tea and cake while raising vital funds to support families affected by dementia. And for us, supporting this cause is something that truly matters.
Dementia does not just affect individuals, it impacts entire families. From the moment of diagnosis, life changes in ways that can feel overwhelming, confusing and isolating. Many families don't know where to turn for help or guidance. That's where specialist dementia support makes a real difference. Having access to expert advice, reassurance and practical help can transform how families cope day to day.
Home Care Perfection are hosting their own coffee morning to take a moment to share a cuppa with someone who needs it. Sometimes the smallest gestures can mean the most!
So, lets put the kettle on and support a cause that truly matters.
