Jan 2026 - 50 Miles & Cold Dips for Dementia Uk. In memory of Nan ❤️

This January, I'm running 50 Miles & cold water dipping, raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Running will commence when less snow/ice about!

In memory of my Nan ❤️

In March 2020 my Nan suffered a major stroke, despite the odds she pulled through,  to then live with onset of dementia which in the end consumed her. 
Heart breaking  to watch someone you love go through this💔. 
Nan grew her wings in February 2025, a year I’ve struggled to digest.
I wanted to start 2026 with the love and memories of Nan and dedicating this one to her. I’m taking on this challenge in her memory and raising money for Dementia UK, helping families face dementia. 

I’ll be taking on 50mile challenge and cold water dipping throughout January 2026.
