I'm walking 31 Miles in May for Dementia UK

This May, I'm walking 31 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

My lovely mum

Sunday 3rd May
Our beautiful mum … I’m one of her five children . All she has focussed on is us and her grandchildren, our father has been passed 18 years , sadly missed by all . 
A dementia diagnosis was a shock in lock down 😓 the condition has been managed relatively well through our dedicated care and attention until recently where now it’s starting to take its toll . With other health complications it’s becoming a constant challenge through mobility and vulnerability to infection etc so we are taking it one day at a time and trying to manage as best we can… 
I hope one day a cure can be found for this horrible disease that steals away so many things we ordinarily take for granted 😓
