I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

In memory of Gramps
Sunday 23rd AugIn Memory of My Gramps ❤️
I’ve decided to take on this fundraising challenge in memory of my wonderful Gramps, who sadly lived with dementia.
Dementia is such a cruel illness. It doesn’t just affect the person living with it, but also their family and everyone who loves them. Watching someone you love change because of dementia is incredibly difficult, and it’s something that has stayed with me.
Something that makes this even more meaningful to me is that I now work with people living with dementia myself. Having experienced dementia within my own family, working with people who are going through the same challenges has given me an even greater understanding of how important patience, kindness, dignity and compassion are.
It feels like a special way of keeping my Gramps’ memory alive — by doing something that can help other people and families who are facing the same journey that we did.
I hope that through this fundraising, I can raise awareness and support the incredible work being done to improve the lives of people living with dementia and their families.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and my family. Even sharing my fundraising page would make a huge difference.
This one’s for you, Gramps. ❤️
Forever loved, never forgotten. 🕊️
Thank you to everyone who supports me and helps me make a difference in his memory. ❤️
