I'm walking 30 miles in September

I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Well today is the start of me walking 30miles in September. Taking it a mile at the time one day at a time. Will keep you updated with my progress

Why I’m doing the walk

This is something that unfortunately effects a lot of people and being a carer in the past and now I have met a lot of wonderful people that are suffering with dementia. Those of you that know me well know I look after a lady with dementia and it is hard to see what this illness is doing to her but now it is also personal as my own father is suffering with dementia. Please if you can donate it would be wonderful. More research is needed into such a cruel disease
