I'm walking 50 Miles in January for Dementia UK
This January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Great weather to walk
Sunday 4th Jan The weather has been very kind to those of us aiming for our 50 Miles. It's been very cold but dry and sunny in Liverpool so, once you get started, it's pleasant to walk. Let's hope we don't have any snow or ice. So far I managed 5 miles on Thursday, 6 on Friday and 6 Saturday. I'm front-loading the walks in case the weather turns! Many thanks to everyone who has donated, your generosity keeps my legs going. I think of the brilliant Admiral Nurse called Joe who helped me to cope when I felt I was at the end of my tether. I want Liverpool to have its own Admiral Nurse to help others like me. Thanks again everyone. Share
