I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Day 1 of My 62-Mile Walk for Dementia UK: A Promising Start!

I'm beyond thrilled to kick off my 62-mile walk challenge for Dementia UK today, and I'm already feeling the momentum! As I lace up my walking shoes and set off on this journey, I'm delighted to share that I've already reached my initial target of £100 in donations.

I feel incredibly lucky to have such amazing supporters in my corner. Your generosity and kindness mean the world to me, and I know that every pound raised will make a tangible difference to families affected by dementia. With just £5 covering the telephone costs of a call to Dementia UK's Helpline, every donation counts, and I'm grateful for your contributions.

As I embark on this challenge, I'm not just walking for my dad, who has been living with vascular dementia, but for all the families who are navigating the complexities of this condition. I'm walking for the support, the care, and the hope that Dementia UK provides to those who need it most.
