I'm walking 50 Miles in January for Dementia UK

This January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

My Grandad My reason

In January, none of this new year new me rubbish...But i will be walking 50 miles throughout Jan in memory of my amazing grandad. Dementia is a heartbreaking illness and affects not only the person who has it, but the whole family.  However no matter what, the good days or the bad my Grandad always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell,  he was and still is my Hero and was one of the strongest people ive known 💝

So so many familys have come face to face with this illness and funds are needed for resourses to support people living with dementia. I know after Christmas everyones watching the pennies but if anyone can sponser me id be FOREVER GREATFUL. If i can do a little to help my heart will be full and every step i take will be for him. Thank you for reading 💖
