I'm jogging one mile a day for Dementia UK
This April, I'm jogging one mile each day and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Challenge complete!! 🥳🏃🏽♀️
Thursday 1st May Completed our final run yesterday - after Lucy came back from school & before her guides so was in the baking heat! 🥵 Managed just over a mile yesterday and 32 miles for the month total so we ended slightly over target which I’m delighted about. Lucy did so well sticking with it, going out day to day is tough. Will be having a rest today but not stopping running altogether! 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️ Share
A week to go!!!
Wednesday 23rd Apr Schools are back so runs are later in day and been in the sun 🥵 we’ve now got to 26 miles covered with a week left which is great…. Countdown is on!! 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️ Share
Two thirds through
Wednesday 23rd Apr Finally had a run in the rain (much to Lucy’s delight 😂). At 21 miles we’re on target heading into last third of the challenge! Share
Halfway point!!!
Tuesday 15th Apr That’s Lucy and I reached the halfway point, we’ve covered 16.5 miles so well on target 💪🏻 and still managing to miss the rain!!! 😂 Share
