I'm walking 30 miles in September
I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support by liking my posts and offering words of encouragement to keep me going! I’m always very grateful when anyone offers to walk a mile with me, so if you fancy it, please let me know. I’m hoping to raise awareness about this cruel illness and hopefully raise some money as well. I know so many of you have very generously sponsored me in previous years, so please don’t feel you have to do it again!
I’m going this in memory of my dear old Dad who died in 1999 not knowing who I was. 🥲
I’m also doing it for everyone who is currently either struggling with Dementia themselves or has friends or family that are. It’s a very challenging time, yet we live in hope for a cure and need all the support we can.
The challenge is to walk 30 miles in September, which I’ve managed to do for the last 5 years. 😊So this year, I’m challenging myself to do at least 40 miles! 🙏
