I'm walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK

This June, I'm walking 60 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

Walk for my Gramps

Sunday 24th May
Im doing this walk for my Grandad and everyone else battling this horrible disease. My grandad is the rock of the family always has been always kept us all together doing things as family should, to see him go from the mechanical minded person, always fixing things, nothing ever found itself in the bin, to not being able to do what he used to and struggle in everyday life is truly heartbreaking, not just for him but the whole family. The best one me and him did and the most funniest was he had a inflatable boat which we used to take on the canal, it wouldn't  inflate so we put the 47th puncture repair kit on it, put talc on it and gave it a go, it didn't have it and to top it off , he didnt throw it away he put it back in the roofing of garage like it was guna ever float again 😂 so spare what you can please and do it for not just the best grandad to ever walk the planet but for all the others put there suffering from this awful disease 💙💙💙
