Running 100K for Dementia UK
This month, I’m running 100km in support of Dementia UK, a charity that’s incredibly close to my heart.
My grandad has been diagnosed with dementia, and seeing firsthand how this disease affects not just the person, but the whole family, has been heartbreaking. Dementia is cruel, confusing, and relentless — and no one should have to face it without the right support.
Dementia UK provides specialist nurses who support families through some of the hardest moments of their lives, offering practical help, understanding, and compassion when it’s needed most.
Every kilometre I run is for my grandad, and for every family navigating dementia right now. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me — and it will help ensure families don’t have to face this journey alone.
