I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

Why I’m Taking on 30 Miles for Dementia 💜

Wednesday 12th Aug

This September, I’m taking on the challenge of walking 30 miles to raise money and awareness for dementia.

Dementia is a cause that is particularly close to my heart. Through the work I do supporting older people, I see how important, patience, kindness and understanding are for people living with dementia — and for the families who support them every day.

I wanted to do something positive to help raise awareness and hopefully make a difference, even in a small way. So, throughout September, I’ll be putting my trainers on and getting those miles in! 🚶‍♀️💜

Thirty miles might not sound like a huge distance, but knowing that every step is helping to raise money for such an important cause will keep me going.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, I would be incredibly grateful. Every donation will help support people affected by dementia and the vital work being done to improve their lives.

Thank you so much for supporting me. 💜

30 miles. One month. One very important cause.
