I'm walking 30 miles in September
Hi, I'm trying to get back into walking again and so I thought why not try another sponsored walk. I lost my grandma Gladys around 15yrs ago to dementia and my stepmums mum just recently. I am doing this walking challenge in memory of them both. I hope I can do them both proud.
I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
Thank you!

Final challenge day 30th September
Tuesday 30th Sep Today I set out first thing and headed out to the library in the city centre to return some very long overdue due books I just found. Then I went to my second time of volunteering at craft group at the jubilee church and went to get some tea after before heading back to the jubilee centre to try out a new bible study group to do with fish and animals in the bible and also hulls fishing heritage. I completed the challenge today with 4 miles of steps done today Share

My first day of the walking challenge
Sunday 7th Sep Today, 6th September I started the walking challenge. I did 5.49 miles worth in steps. I enjoyed a walk around the countryside fields and up a country road until the pavement ran out and then I cut mine and my neighbours lawns. Quite a productive day for me today.
