I'm running 100K for Dementia UK
In February, I’ll be running 100km for Dementia in memory of my Nana, who sadly passed away last year. There isn’t a day goes by that I don’t think about her.
Dementia is a cruel illness that slowly takes pieces of the people we love, and watching someone so special go through that is something I’ll never forget. This challenge is my way of honouring her and helping support others who are facing the same heartbreak.
I only started running in August last year, and if I’m being honest, I still have a very real love-hate relationship with it. Some days it feels freeing, other days it feels incredibly hard — but that’s kind of the point.
January has been a rough start, and February feels like my reset: a fresh month, a personal challenge, and a chance to push myself for something that truly matters ❤️
Every step I run is for my Nana, and for everyone affected by dementia. Any contribution no matter the size will be greatly appreciated, Thank you so much for any support — it genuinely means more than I can put into words.
