I'm walking 31 Miles in May for Dementia UK
This May, I'm walking 31 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Why I am doing this....
Tuesday 31st Mar My amazing Nanna was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia some years ago. She is the happiest, strongest and most positive person I know! She would love nothing more to be out walking 31 miles in May. Before the dementia started to impact her life, she was so independant and would still run for the bus in her 80's. I am so proud of the resiliance she shows, while living with LBD. I am completing the 31 miles in May in the hope that someday there will be a cure for this cruel disease.
