I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Walking 75miles for mum 🐾

In December 2024, my lovely mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. It’s been incredibly tough watching her change and trying to come to terms with what that means for her—and for us as a family.

So, this September, I’m walking 75 miles with my dog to raise money for Dementia UK, a charity that provides amazing support to families through their specialist Admiral Nurses.

This cause is really close to my heart—not just because of my mum, but also through my work. I’m currently training to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP), and I see every day the impact dementia has on both patients and their loved ones. It’s something no one should have to face alone.

Why Dementia UK?
Dementia UK offers specialist support that can make all the difference during the most difficult times. I want to do my bit to help them keep doing that for more families like mine.
