I'm walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK

This June, I'm walking 60 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored, shared and supported me so far 💜💙


I’m honestly overwhelmed!! 🥹🥹 In under 6 hours I’ve already exceeded my £500 target and I haven’t even taken my first step yet! I never expected this level of support and I’m so grateful to every single person who has contributed.


Hopefully together we can continue raising even more awareness and support for such an important cause. Thank you all so much for being part of this journey with me ✨


A little bit about why..

Saturday 23rd May

I’m taking on this 60-mile challenge for Dementia UK because it’s a cause that’s become really close to my heart.


Over time, I’ve seen how much dementia can affect not only the person living with it, but also the people around them. Caring for someone you love can be incredibly rewarding, but also emotional, exhausting and sometimes lonely in ways people don’t always realise or talk about enough.


I think almost everyone knows someone whose life has been touched by dementia in some way, which is why I wanted to do something meaningful to help raise awareness and support for families and carers going through it every day.


Throughout June I’ll be walking 60 miles and raising money for Dementia UK. Any donations, support or even sharing this page would honestly mean so much 💜💙
